Issue 5: Waste and transport integrated assessments

Welcome to the fifth edition of the INTARESE Technical Briefs.

This issue contains two articles about INTARESE's case studies. Gerard Hoek demonstates how the INTARESE methodology has been used to assess the impact of transport policies on health. The WP3.1 team finds that whilst "integrated assessments can only be a small part of the many factors that influence policy... they’re a really important part, providing objective assessments."

In the second article Francesco Forastiere, Kees De Hoogh, Daniela Porta and Martin Krayer von Krauss outline the INTARESE case study on waste, which assesses the impact of waste management policies since 2001 in Italy, Slovakia and England.
