INTARESE and HEIMTSA will present a joint symposium entitled 'HEIMTSA-INTARESE – A European center stage for developing integrated assessmenti methodologies for environmental health policy' at the ISEE/ISEA Conference (12 -16 Ocotber 2008) in Pasadena (for more information on the conference please visit http://secure.awma.org/events/isee-isea/).

Symposium outline
The introduction will present the HEIMTSA and INTARESE project objectives and discuss the complementary nature of both projects. Two case study presentations demonstrate the application of the full chain approach to urban housing and climate policy scenario studies. The methodological sessions discuss the development of a selected set of integrated assessment methods for INTARESE and/or HEIMTSA where application for wider assessment purposes is highlighted. The methods and assessment studies developed and applied in HEIMTSA and INTARESE are integrated into one integrated assessment guidance system. This end product is discussed in the final session.
