CEN (European Committee for Standardization), ETPIS(European Technology Platform on Industrial Safety) and EU-VRi (European Virtual Institute for Integrated Risk Management)have decided to join their efforts to perform a survey which is aimed at identifying the needs and expectations in the area of Risk Assessment related to:

• Harmonization in the Risk Assessment and Management Field
• Emerging Risks Related to new technologies
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Emerging Risks.

The questionnaire was reviewed at the EU-VRi General Assembly Technical Workshop on February 8, 2008 as a survey among ETPIS members and other partner organizations of EU-VRi.
