This year's SP2 meeting will be held at NILU on 9th -11th March 2009. The meeting aim is to review the status and discuss the next tasks for WP2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4, and especially to discuss the main issues in WP2.4.
SP2 also needs to utilize the progress made in the other parts of INTARESE and other INTARESE groups, most notably, partners from WP 3.3, WP3.1, WP1.3, WP1.5 and WP1.2 are invited to attend to exchange information and try to create bridges across SPs/WPs. It will also enable discussions that could help shape further work in WP2.4.
The main topics of discussion will be:
(i) SP2-Monitoring and surveillance and SP4-Integrated assessmenti system
Contribution to the toolbox: what, how and when? Datai/metadata, methods, models, worked examples?
Relation to the WP4.3 “mega-case study”. Can we link, and how?
(ii) SP2-Mornitoring and surveillance and SP3-Policy assessments
What are the lessons from the 1st pass assessment?
How to integrate data from different sources in a conceptual framework?
(iii) WP2.4-Integrated monitoring and SP 1-Integrated assessment methods
What are the challenges for integrated monitoring? How to deal with it?
