The overall aim of SP4 is to develop a toolbox for integrated assessment that provides users with the data, models, assessment methods and visualisation and reporting techniques necessary to carry out, interpret and use assessments of environmental and health risks and impacts.

To this end, the Sub-project has four main objectives:

• to translate the information requirements, assessment methods and policy assessments undertake in other Sub-projects into specifications for an operational toolbox for integrated assessment;
• based on these specifications, to design an integrated assessment toolbox;
• to program and construct an internet-based user interface and toolbox, that provides access to the data, methods and models, and provides the interpretative assistance and visualisation ad reporting functions, needed by users;
• to test and demonstrate the toolbox through the assessment of a series of cross-cutting policy issues.
