WP1.5 Cross-Cutting Issues

WP1.5 Cross-Cutting Issues will:
- establish a conceptual framework for use of evidence in decision making in environment and health, including qualitative and quantitative methods;
- critically review current strategies, methodologies and tools for describing, characterizing, assessing, interpreting and reporting uncertainty of various kinds;
- develop methods for assessing uncertainty from multiple sources in risk assessment and health impact assessment exercises;
- identify, characterise, investigate, and assess specific risks of various population subgroups, defined on the basis of susceptibility and vulnerability;
- review the concepts of the assessment of effects of combined exposures;
- develop guidance documents to address the above cross-cutting issues in case studies.
